Symptoms

  • The price looks different from what I expected
  • My bank charged a different amount

Most likely causes

  • The display currency was switched.
  • The exchange rate moved between browsing and paying.
  • Your bank applied its own conversion or a foreign-transaction fee.

What to do

  1. Check which currency you are viewingThe switcher changes the display; converted figures are indicative.
  2. Trust the checkout amountThat is the figure sent to the payment gateway.
  3. Expect small differences on a foreign cardYour bank sets its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. That difference is theirs, not ours.

Expected result

You understand which number is the real one and why your statement may differ slightly.
