How Orfy uses cookies and similar local storage

Last updated 2026-08-22 · Version 1.0

This page explains the cookies and browser storage Orfy uses, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It reflects what the Orfy application actually sets — not a generic template.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Orfy also uses your browser's local storage (a similar mechanism) to remember preferences such as your language and cookie choice. We refer to both as “cookies” on this page.

Essential cookies (always active)

These are required for the site to work — signing in, keeping you secure, and remembering your language and consent choice. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics cookies (optional, off by default)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Analytics is denied by default and loads only after you opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings” — we then stop sending analytics events and clear the analytics cookies we are able to remove.

What happens if you reject

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to browse, book, or use your account — only anonymous usage analytics are disabled.

Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and, where the change is material, ask for your consent again.
