My download link expired

Download links are deliberately short-lived. That is what stops a forwarded link giving a stranger your photos.

Symptoms

  • The link says expired
  • A saved link no longer opens

Most likely causes

  • The link was generated a while ago.
  • It was copied from an old email or bookmarked.
  • It was opened on a different account.

What to do

  1. Go to the booking, not the old linkOpening the gallery from the booking issues a fresh link.
  2. Do not bookmark or share download linksThey expire, and anyone holding one can use it until they do.
  3. Download in reasonable batchesA very large batch can outlast the link it started with.

Expected result

A fresh link that works.
