Symptoms

  • The photographer declined my request

Most likely causes

  • They are already booked that day.
  • The location is outside the area they cover.
  • The shoot is not the kind of work they do.

What to do

  1. Check your date against their availabilityRequesting a date they have not marked as open is the most common reason.
  2. Ask about another dateA decline is about that slot, not about you.
  3. Or request another photographerRequesting two in parallel is fine — a pending request is not a commitment.

Expected result

You have a photographer confirmed for a date that works.
