Installing Orfy on your phone

Orfy installs from the browser rather than an app store. Adding it to your home screen gives you an app icon and browser notifications.

Symptoms

  • I cannot find Orfy in the app store
  • I do not see an install prompt

Most likely causes

  • You are on a desktop browser, where the prompt is not shown.
  • It is already installed, so the prompt is hidden.
  • The prompt was dismissed earlier.

What to do

  1. Open orfy.io on your phoneThe install prompt is shown on mobile only — on a desktop the site already works as a full page.
  2. Tap the install promptOn Android, your browser offers to install. On iPhone, use Share → Add to Home Screen.
  3. Open it from your home screenIt runs full-screen with its own icon, and can send you notifications if you allow them.

Expected result

Orfy sits on your home screen and opens like an app.

If the issue continues

  • If no prompt appears and it is not already installed, add it manually from your browser's share or menu button.
