Every photographer you can book has been reviewed and approved. Verified is a further step: identity documents were checked.

What to do

Listed means approvedA profile only becomes bookable after review. Nobody appears in search by signing up alone.
Verified means identity was checkedIt is a stronger signal than approval, not a rating of their work.
A verified review means a real bookingReviews can only be written against a completed booking, so a rating cannot be manufactured.
Judge the work on the portfolioNo badge tells you whether you will like their photographs. The portfolio does.
