Client or vendor — which are you?

Every new account is a client account. The vendor role is granted after identity verification and review — ticking "I want to be a vendor" at sign-up only records the intent.

Symptoms

  • I signed up to be a vendor but I do not see Studio

Most likely causes

  • The application has not been submitted, only the intent recorded at sign-up.
  • The application is still under review.

What to do

  1. Everyone starts as a clientYou can browse, book and message straight away.
  2. Apply separately to become a vendorUse Become a Vendor. Ticking a box at sign-up is not an application.
  3. The Studio unlocks on approvalOnce your identity is verified and the application approved, your account is upgraded and Studio appears.
  4. One account holds bothYou do not need a second account to book someone else as a client.
